COLLECTIONS

The Gipsy Moth collection of artefacts is from the legendary Gipsy Moth V which was shipwrecked in Australia in 1982 on an around the world voyage.

The skipper Desmond Hampton managed to rescue himself so no loss of life took place.

Various items were salvaged from the vessel and those items have inspired this collection and exhibition. Please view the website to enjoy this tribute to Sir Francis and his remarkable story.
